Ask yourself to reflect
A form of prayer
Misdirected
To only feature bad parts
And in the bad parts you find solace
In the bad parts you find old friends
The bad parts occupy your time most
Rape, murder, pillaging
Learn the Greek alphabet now
Recall the golden light
Years ago stripped
The cavalcade rolls into town
And takes advantage of the naive
Screaming horses
Rollover, rotate, meditate, somersault
You land on your back and die
Before you ever got to finish those
Thirty books
The stepdad comes in
And sets it all straight
Pay you no mind, to the hard parts of life
The bad parts of yourself are there to guide
You out of and back to the broken home
For one last meal
Whatever you would like, within reason
And you finish with a glass of milk
How did this prayer make you feel?
Go forth.
